About LifelineUSA
Bobby “Sugar” Hinds founded LifelineUSA in 1973 on one simple product, his famous beaded jump rope. Known as the “Jump Rope King,” Bobby traveled across the United States promoting the benefits of his perfectly balanced, smooth-action-high-speed rope. He set records and created spectacles, and when he wasn’t on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show he was jumping alligators in Louisiana.

The ambitious founder took his jump rope from a backyard factory to being the hottest fitness product in Sears and JCPenney in 1976. His jump rope even made it onto the back of 12 million boxes of Wheaties … twice! Lightning continued to strike as Hinds took his newest invention, the Lifeline Portable Gym, into full production in 1977 and set the stage for Lifeline’s growth to date. With over 70 unique products, many carrying patents, Lifeline had record years in 2007 and again in 2008.

Consumer Review
Ab wheel on steroids
After I saw the YouTube videos of folks using this, I had to try it out. I am by no means the next Mr. Olympia, but I am also not some slouch. Man-o-man, does it work. I wish I was there when the creator of this item thought, “hmm, what would happen if I put feet straps on my ab wheel?” Of course he or she had to make sure the actual wheel was a monster. Too bad the screws weren’t made just as sturdy. My favorite exercise is simply strapping the thing onto my feet and pulling myself around the house, garage, or block with my arms in plank position. The sad thing is that the best ab-torturing move is the one that you would perform on any standard ab wheel. Were it not for the price (60+ dollars for an ab wheel?!) I would have given it a 5.
